David Stride was my personal trainer for 3 years. David help me achieve two individual Canadian records that still stand and two top 10 world rankings in masters swimming. I was able to achieve these accomplishments in great part because of the specific workout program that David prepared for me. His knowledge about high level training and his dedication to my program was important to my success as a swimmer. Further, I believe that an exercise program set up by David Stride would benefit any athlete regardless of age.

I have worked with other trainers in the past with satisfactory results, however nothing in comparison to what David Stride has been able to achieve. With his in-depth experience and knowledge he helped me achieve results beyond my expectations. My workouts are always custom-tailored to my skill and fitness level and he makes them both creative and challenging.

I highly recommend David; he is professional, knowledgeable and gets you the results you want.

After three summers of being told that I would not be making the Senior National Volleyball Team because I needed to work on my physical fitness I knew I had to make a change to make the FISU National team in 2005 that would be travelling to the FISU games in Izmir, Turkey. I teamed up with David Stride for four months leading up to the tryouts. With his knowledge of performance enhancement, support, professionalism and encouragement I reached my peak fitness level. I was in the best shape I have ever been in and ultimately I was chosen to represent Canada at the FISU games that summer. Because I was in the best physical shape of my life, I lead the physical testing during tryouts and was able to sustain the high level of training and international competition we faced that summer. I also impressed the national team coaches and after the tournament in Izmir was asked to fly to Winnipeg to join the Senior Team squad for a NORCEA’s tournament where I was able to fulfill my lifelong dream of playing against some of the best women in the world. David was able to devise a training program that not only was specific to Volleyball and my goals, but one that was challenging, fun and greatly rewarding!
